You get back home and pause.
You close your eyes and feel only the void and nothing else.
You crumble and collapse into a heap as your soul is sucked out and you can no longer breathe.
You curl up into a fetal position and hug yourself as tight as you can.
You lie there unmoving, petrified of the pain that travels through you;
touching every single cell in you.
You live then being lifeless. Completely incomplete.
You let only the tears move, travel down to bring you the taste of your pain.
You begin to tremble as you realize this pain will never leave.
You shudder as you accept that this love will only grow and never cease.
You lay there sleeping awake;
silent sighs a lullaby
