Main kaise bataun tujhe
marte hain har pal tere bina
Labzon se kaise karoon ishq bayaan
tujhe na kehne ka ghum bhi na de sakunga

Apne ishq ko khamoshi ke sunhere dhaagon se seeh lenge
Uski Meethi aawaz ko kabhi gungunaane na denge
Aadha ishq hua hai, pura ho jaaye teri ijaazat se
bas issi dua ko ab se ardaas bana lenge

Main kaise bataun tujhe,
teri aadat padh gayi hai.
Thoda aur ab namak chak lenge,
tere hissey ke aansoon hum ro lenge.

kalam ka katal kar denge, shihai ke gehre samundar main dooba denge
mera koi shabd tujhe mayoos karne ki gustakhi na kabhi kar paaye
woh kaagaz ke rukhey pattey meri daastan sunke bhi bayaan na kar sakenge
